Our Mission

We are a nonprofit group working with community members, conservation groups, government agencies, and Tribal partners to reclaim, restore, and protect the Baduwa’t Watershed.

Together we are helping Reclaim, Restore, and Protect our watershed, one stream at a time.

Baduwa’t Watershed Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Humboldt County, California.

Our goal, working with the tribes, working with all of the stakeholders, is to bring back the the health of Baduwa’t - to protect it and restore it, for our community and for future generations
— Dave Feral, Founder Baduwa't Watershed Council

what we have achieved

With the support of dedicated community volunteers, local Tribes, agencies, and businesses, the Baduwa’t Watershed Council has made significant strides in our mission to reclaim, restore, and protect this vital watershed.

Our impressive track record reflects the positive impact we’ve had on the health of the Baduwa’t River and its surrounding ecosystems.

RIVER CLEAN UP

Coordinated countless river clean-ups and removing over 700+ cubic yards of nasty waste from the watershed.

EDUCATION AND OUTREACH

Educated hundreds of local students on why it’s important to restore the Baduwa’t Watershed, and that it’s the source of drinking water to most of Humboldt County.

PROTECT

Protected multiple miles of river and wildlife from contamination due to industrial pollution.

Be a vital part of reclaiming, restoring, and protecting the Baduwa’t Watershed.

However, our work is far from over. We are actively engaged in ongoing projects that require continued bunding and support. Your donation can help us expand our efforts and tackle the pressing challenges that threaten the river’s future.

Join us in making a difference. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a crucial role in advancing our mission. Together, we can ensure a thriving Baduwa’t River for generations to come.
